About Us

Kerrie Early is proud to call herself a Lamar Local.  She's the spirit for pioneering small-town communities to think good, dream good and do good!
A big dreamer herself, Kerrie began her sales career in 2007 and quickly saw the power of mixing community, relationships and great products.  She built a successful direct sales business that she operated for over 18 years.

She grew up in Lamar and moved away with her husband Troy and two kids.  In January 2020, she started feeling the desire to move back to the town she's always called home.

In May 2022, the Earlys officially moved back to Lamar!  They purchased a commercial property that was the town's movie rental store when she was a child and she visited often to rent vhs tapes!  With the help of friends, family and GBD Construction, 213 W Main Street was renovated.

The vision and mission for Mercantile213 is to foster experiences for others to gather, create and find together.

Mercantile213 is the home of Red Bird Coffee Bar. Red Bird is run by Kerrie's mom, Marilyn.  Marilyn is a local favorite.  She has lived in Lamar all of her life and many come in just to visit with her.

The Earlys hosted the grand opening for Mercantile213 in November 2022.  We'd love to have you come visit with us!
